Los Angeles, May 11, 1951 7334 Mr. P. G. Martin - Los Angeles (cc - Mr. C. A. Keeble Mr. Geo. 0. Jopling Mr. F. E. Cragin) Please refer to Work Order No. 4769 just approved covering 1951 Budget Item No. 2 for installation of booster pump and pipe line to serve West Side Addition at Las Vegas. It is desired to complete this Installation as quickly as possible so as to secure the additional water pressure before hot weather sets in, also to serve new public housing district now being constructed. Herewith 2 copies each of my requisitions 64*106 to 117 covering pipe fittings, meter, etc., originals of which are being furnished Mr. F. E. Cragin with copy of this letter. The 14** transits pipe has already been ordered on my requisition 64-100 of May 3rd which went direct to Purchasing Agent. Additional requisitions are being prepared by me and will be submitted shortly for 2 - 25 HP motors with pumps, switch panels, hardware, etc* Mr. Jopling should promptly order materials for transformer rack, 3-25 KVA transformers and poles, wire, etc. for approximately 100 feet of power line. He should also order light transformer and lighting material required to light up area around the booster pump. There will be ho pump house but you should assemble concrete materials and reinforcing steel indicated on drawing. for concrete work Am attaching 2 prints of my drawing No. 16236, dated March 5# 1951 (one print to each Messrs. Jopling, Keeble and Cragin) showing location of booster pump, power line and pipe line, also detailed piping arrangement. Assume you will forward one of these prints and a copy of the attached wroerqku.isitions to Mr. Snorf for his guidance in handling this Will Mr. Cragin and Mr. Keeble, who receive copy of ptrhoijse clte.tter, please expedite delivery of material for this R.
