GENERAL COMMITTEE CHAIRMEN MEETING - 2 AIRPORTS COMMITTEE L?╜ E. Tyson. Chairman Me Carran Field: Information desk will be set up for the prime purpose of providing VIP transportation coordination, and will be manned, preferably, by airlines personnel in uniform, Possibilities of locating this desk at (1) space right by Airport Manager's office (2) north end of Bonanza Airlines counter ** because of central location and access to public address system - and (3) at one-half of Avis desk, were discussed. As the third location is most preferable, this matter will be discussed with Dan Smith by Ralph Whitener, shortly. Nellis A.F.B.: It was clarified that this is not the responsibility of the Airports Committee. Sky Haven: As new management has taken over this facility since Whitener's visit there in January, it was suggested that Chairman Tyson pay a visit to this airport to outline WCF plan and discuss the program. This station will be manned by an experienced member of the Maitre d's staff, who will accept reservations from delegates until his allotment is filled.
