Following .word o f the GSA acceptance of the deal Saturday,/ the water district directors yes­terday put the wheels into mo­tion lor rapid conclusion of their ! negotiations to purchase the facilities of the Las Vegas Land and Water Co. from the Union Pacific, Thomas A. The commission in a weekend meeting asked bids from persons who leased, the properties from BMI, the privately-owned Federal Homes Corporation of Nevada and any other interested buyers.
