The Molasky Group of Companies Multi-generational Talent and Creativity in Real Estate Development More than five decades ago The Molasky Group of Companies began a tradition of quality real estate development and management in the southwestern United States. Irwin Molasky, along with his children, Steven, Andrew, Alan and Beth, established a distinguished reputation for strategic land planning and progressive real estate development. Over the years, each member of the Molasky family has brought their own individually honed expertise to the company, creating a synergistic effect that has kept the company top in its field. The family has been, and continues to be, considered a primary influence in the continual growth of Southern Nevada, as well as western regional markets. Its impressive track record includes an innovative and highly marketable portfolio of retail, office, institutional, and residential properties. By overseeing every step of the development process, the Molasky Group ensures the merit of each project?from concept, to blueprints, to bricks and mortar construction, to sales and marketing, and property management. The Molasky Group of Companies takes pride in its approach with a first-class team consisting of topflight professional personnel, award-winning designers, and highly skilled and talented craftsmen. The company's quality and commitment to the community are unsurpassed. Its success lies in its ability to keep up with the times. In 21st century Las Vegas, that means MBA-style discipline, progressive diversification and other new ways of thinking about real estate development in this ever-changing market. More specifically it means that more trust is handed over to top ranking company officials whose last name is not Molasky. The strategic "Executive Team" for the Molasky Group is comprised of Richard S. Worthington (President and COO), Suzanne Sanders (VP Design and Development), and Bradley Sher (VP Finance and CFO). Over the ensuing years, Molasky, along with his children and strategic business partners, formed real estate companies in Nevada and California and developed thousands of homes, master-planned golf course communities, more than 20,000 apartment homes, several million square feet of Class A office property, "regional and neighborhood shopping centers, a 688-bed hospital, medical offices, institutional facilities, industrial parks and luxury high-rise condominiums. Committed to developing quality real estate properties that benefit the community at large, The Molasky Group of Companies' legacy includes many "firsts" for Las Vegas. In 1958 Las Vegas' first private hospital, Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center opened, and 30 years ago the state's first hospice, Nathan Adelson Hospice, was dedicated to serving the terminally ill and their families. The Boulevard Mall, which opened in 1967, was Nevada's first fully enclosed regional mall and offered more than 1,300,000 square feet of retail space, introducing to the marketplace major retailers Sears, JCPenney, Dillard's and Broadway department stores. The first Class A office tower in downtown Las Vegas, the 250,000-square-foot Bank of America Plaza, was built in 1976 and followed up with the 80,000-square-foot Bank of America West. In 2007, the 285,000 SF Molasky Corporate Center achieved LEED? Gold Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council, bringing the first "Green" building to the downtown Las Vegas redevelopment district. They built single and multi-family homes in the greater Las Vegas area, garnering top honors along the way. Outside Nevada, in Southern California, one of The Molasky Group of Companies created the most renowned golf course and resort community in the world: the prestigious LaCosta Spa & Golf Course and adjoining 6,000 acres of resort, residential and commercial properties encompassing a builder program with over 6,500 residential units. Irwin Molasky and his partners entered the entertainment industry and created Lorimar Entertainment, which produced award-winning television series such as "Dallas" and "Knots Landing" and Academy Award-winning films such as "Being There" and "An Officer and A Gentleman." Addressing the exponential growth in Las Vegas in the 1 980s and 1990s, the Molasky Group developed regional power centers, again introducing new retailers such as Best Buy, Ashley Furniture, Jo-Ann ETC., Bed Bath & Beyond, DSW Shoes, and Copeland Sports to Southern Nevada. They also built mixed-use properties such as Westcliff House office park and thousands of quality homes and apartments across the Las Vegas Valley. The company is credited with igniting the luxury high-rise market in Las Vegas with the opening of Park Towers, named by Town & Country as one of the five best places to live. 60 years of experience was called upon in creating the Molasky Corporate Center, Las Vegas' first LEED-Gold certified Class A office building. Continuing a tradition of community service, the Molasky Group of Companies is involved in public/private partnerships to build projects such as the Internal Revenue Service office building, Casa Grande transitional housing facility, Social Security Administration offices and Clark County Detention Facility. Casa Grande transitional housing facility SunMark Plaza power center Clark County Detention Facility Social Security Administration offices Public/Private Partnerships In a relatively short time, The Molasky Group of Companies has positioned itself to compete for build-to-suit deals and is now on the fast track for low-bid government contracts. New buildings for the Internal Revenue Service, the Social Security Administration, Nevada Department of Corrections, U.S. Secret Service, National Archives and Record Administration in St. Louis, and the Southern Nevada Water Authority are prime examples how the company uses state-of-the-art strategies to build cost effectively while offering a diversity of tenant-driven services. The Molasky Group has earned a reputation for skillfully managing design build projects for county, state and federal government agencies. The management team prides itself on "thinking outside the box" and providing unique and often demanding requirements and solutions to government needs. A proven low cost provider, the development team's primary focus is communication with the tenant. The company is large enough to be efficient and cost effective but small enough to be adaptable and highly responsive to tenant's needs.
