Prince Maaka Nua and his Royal Hawaiians feature a "complete new show, exciting dances and exquisite productions featuring Noelani, a beautiful Hawaiian soprano; Maui, Little Miss Person- ~ ality; plus hula lovelies, Leonalni, "Teuila and Mapuana. Kalani sings a breath-taking falsetto backed by the music of the Hawaiian Playboys. Prince Maaka Nua performs his fast-paced and dangerous fire knife dance and is joined by his nephew Na Willi Willi, for the double knife dance. Educated at St. Louis College in Honolulu, Hawaii, the Prince while working in Los Angeles, Calif., appeared on the Jack Douglas television show "Adventures* in Paradise." He was seen by Major Riddle of the Dunes Hotel in Las Vegas and signed for two weeks. The engagement stretched into nine months. Other famous spots Maaka Nua has appeared include the Tropicana and New Frontier Hotels in Las Vegas, the Wagon Wheel at Lake Tahoe, the Chase Hotel in St. Louis, Mo., the Hacienda Hotel in Fresno, Calif, and the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles. The Holiday also features the Esquires, Harry "Woo Woo" Stevens and Michael Kent and His Singing Violins. Kay Stevens, one of the hottest names on the lounge circuit today, is currently headlining in the Casino Show Room of the Mapes Hotel. The fast-moving red haired comedienne toplines a show that also spotlights the Art Mooney Orchestra; Lucky Starr, Australia's number one show business personality; and the exciting Greek revue, The Yacoubian Company. Kay Stevens has stepped into headiiner status throughout the entertainment world with a delightful and sparkling presentation that has been written and staged especially for her by the noted writer, Jack Brooks, with musical arrangements supplied by Bill McClure. Martha Raye and Fanny Brice all rolled into a hilarious oney is a natural comedienne who can ad lib with the best of the comedians and who makes patrons relax and feel right at home when she's on stage.
