February 5, 1948 W 23-1-46 Mr. Clem Malone Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Sir: Confirming our conversation today with reference to your application for extension of water service into Westside Park, located in the S1/2 of the SW1/4, Section 22, immediately north of H.F.M. & M. Addition in Las Vegas: The Las Vegas Land and Water Company is willing to extend its water mains into the Westside Park Addition in accordance with the provisions of Rule 9-A, on file with the Public Service Commission, which provides that the subdivider will advance the estimated cost of such extension, same to be refunded on the basis of 50% of the revenues received there- from over a period of 10 years or until the amount ad- vanced has been refunded, whichever occurs first. Upon receipt of your advice that you wish to proceed with this arrangement, we will prepare our usual form of contract and place an order with the pipe company for the pipe required and proceed promptly with its installation as soon as the pipe is available. Our nearest water main is on "H" Street in the alley between Harrison and Van Buren, about 360 feet from the southwest corner of your tract. Very truly yours, LAS VEGAS LAND & WATER CO.
