Bates - Los Angeles Please refer to your letter to Mr* Hulsizer dated April 21, 1953, File 80-11, and your telegram B-iJ-5* dated May 1953* relative to records to be turned over to the Water District on sale date. With regard to accounting records at Las Vegas, I agree with statement by Mr. Sutton, in his letter of May 1, that there is no objection to turning over all of the accounting records at Las Vegas to the Water District insofar as they refer to the operation of the Water Company and its water service facilities, xclth the exception, however, of those copies of accounting records in my files which Mr. Sutton has taken exception to turning over under "remarks" on attach­ment to his letter of May 1. With regafd to files in my office, I see no objection to turning over to the District all of the available Las Vegas Land & Water Company files which are described in the following tabulation: 1) The Work Order Files. These files are made up of individual folders for separate Work Orders and contain all of the available information pertaining thereto, such ase estimates, correspondence, labor, materials, contracts, cost data, maps, etc. 2) Ledger showing status and record of refunds made Subdividers for each Rule 9 contract'• f~S,
