HIGHWAY AT INTERSECTION DAY ANGLE PAST SIGNAL, up road to approaching "Gen-u-wine" bus, coming at fast, erratic clip. Light says ?╟╓?╟╓STOP". "GO" vehicles are crossing intersection. Bus comes right on, slicing through intersecting traffic and zooming onward, CAMERA PANNING. MED. CLOSE JOHNNIE CUSTER JOHNNIE CUSTER is twenty-seven and handsome. He*s mounted on a parked motorcycle. He's a cop - a Deputy Sheriff. He's looking off toward intersection. And from his expression, we know what he just saw. The expression is a humorous one ?╟÷ a sort of "Oh, hell, not again.''' reaction. He starts motor, and CAMERA PANNING, goes in pursuit of bus. WIDE ANGLE HIGHWAY MOTORCYCLE PURSUING BUS Siren blasting, Johnnie pursues, gains on Genuine. OMITTED EXT. H IGHWAY BUS AND MOTORCYCLE Johnnie on motorcycle comes abreast of bus and motions Genuine over to side of road. Bus halts. Motorcycle halts ahead. Johnnie dismounts and walks to: MED.
