For the past seven weeks I have been working days nights and / f9 Sundays at the new shipyard,and have not had t M e to come to your s£ office to take the matter up personally .The amount is $431 * and of this I owe your Company $148.58 for work done and cement furnished. I should also have credit for 400 empty c/ment sacks returned to the store house at Las Vegas. Mr Drew tried his best to make it stick that I should pay for all the smallN^ools used on the repair work. That seems to me most unjust,as they were all used up broken or lost, and I have only a couple of wrenches left .The balance due me is $318.43 and if you.would take the matter up and settle this without the necessity of a personal vis it, I would much appreciate it.
