That is the estimated value we placed upon these lot® at the time we recommended acquiring the Wardie Addition water f a c ilit i e s and other property. While it was called to Mr. Jeffers* attention that i t might be a long time u n til we would be able to s e ll these lo ts on ba&is of $10 0 .0 0 each, and i t was because of the reasons heretofore advanced that recommendation was made to s e ll 47 of them to the city fo r cash, fo r le s s than $1 0 0 .0 0 per lo t , nevertheless he stated we had indicated a value of approximately $1 0 0 .0 0 per lo t , and we should endeavor to obtain that price.
