Las Vegas Match carefully screens, interviews, and matches compatible people in homesharing arrangements. "Las Vegas Match" a senior homesharing program, is a welcome addition to the range of services available to persons age 60 and older in the Las Vegas community. During the first 12 months of operation the program has been highly successful in establishing a valuable intergenerational homesharing program for seniors. Jewish Family Service Agency of Las Vegas recognized the need for the service and initiated the program during August of 1988. The Nevada Division for Aging Services and United Way of Southern Nevada awarded grants for the coming year to help the program grow.
