Mr, A1 Freeman December 18 , 1969 Page Three Mr. Sam Nichols, our Art Director, will be photographing this 48 page four-color catalog from the 6th through the 10th. On the night of the 10th, they will then depart with the exception of the two additional models. January 10 through 13 William Sturdevant Sunset Films Photographer Single Assistant Photographer Single On January 10 we will start photographing our motion picture production. Mr. Sturdevant and his assistant will probably depart on the morning of the 13th. January 13 through 15 * I Sjef Wildschut Jantzen Still Photographer Single Assistant Photographer Single Mr. Wildschut will photograph all of the four-color material for our posters, as well as a complete black and white program for the Jantzen publicity campaign. During his stay we will also shoot photography that can be utilized in the actual conven- tion show on the 17th. Al, the attached layouts will give you some idea of the visual identification and I wish I could be more specific at this time. Unfortunately, the only production that has definitely been decided upon for a separate "Sands" spread would be that pertaining to Glamour magazine. I have attached a layout of it for your personal review. Naturallyr~ aadlTToriTtl identification would be given to the hotel in our other ads, as well as thd* merchandislhg helns pullout. our trade program, the direct mail campaign, the movie and our poster material. As I originally discussed with you, we would like to do a direct campaign to our entire sales force of 70 men as well as twenty of our management executives who will be attending the convention at The Sands. This would Include "Jantzen" chips :?√ß which would be redeemable at the conclusion of our convention for the $20.00 ?╟÷?√ß---?╟÷ # Sands Hotel gambling chip. I definitely feel that it could be a^tremendous incentive to get these fellows where the "Action" is happening. I am sure you will agree with me that it would be a most profitable investment. Al* should our proposal prove of interest to you, would you please call me immediately in-order that I may finalize the plans for the entire group.
