In addition to the above, MGM will transport, at its expense, selected members of the Los Angeles press including representa- tives of the wire services. It is also understood that in Las Vegas they will be guests of the Sands Hotel. M>M also will provide transportation for star personalities who will attend the premiere and be introduced on the Milton Berle show, as well as members of the publicity staff necessary to handle this event. During their stay in Las Vegas they, likewise, are to be guests of the Sands Hotel where, in the instance of the star personalities, it is our understanding that they are invited to spend the preceding weekend if they should so desire. We are advised by Casey Shawhan of NBC that they expect to invite a number of TV columnists for the February 21 event. These press representatives would not be included in MGM*s transportation responsibility. The matters pertaining to MGM personalities and the Milton Berle TV show are to be handled directly with, and only through Leslie T. So that there can be no misunderstanding would you please confirm the agreement set forth above at your earliest convenience. Yours very truly,
