I agree.1930*8 - 40's Talk It's hard to find more beautiful melodies than some of those written in the 1930's during the golden Era of the movie musical. However, in the 1940's, along with F.D.R., World War II, Pompadour1s and saddle oxfords, came a new sound that was to sweep the country. (excuse me) It was the sound of the Big Band and swing.
