June 27. I960 Refer: T:R:B??:2 JAT Mr. J. P. Worley, Chief Exempt Organizations Branch Commissioner of Internal Revenue U, 5. Treasury Department Washington, D. C. Bear Mr. Worley, In answer to your letter of June 21, I am enclosing financial reports from our accountants for the past two years which explain the royalty agreements from the bakeries we have been dealing with* You will note that the foundation received 3# per loaf from the - > Snowflake Bakery in Las Vegas up until the beginning of this year, at which time Snowflake discontinued baking the bread as the bakery was going to be sold, As far as Regan Bakers of Minneapolis is concerned, we have been receiving 1# a loaf as per the attached accounting and as of this date, we are still receiving this 1# contribution per loaf from Minneapolis and Fargo, but the Mason City distribution has been cancelled. All this work up until now has been more or less of a test pattern with the bakers, and we hope to soon make some agreement with other bakers around the country which will bring in more money for the hospital - but it would surely help us if we were to have our CHARITABLE FOUNDATION tax exemption granted by then, I certainly do appreciate your patience and trust that you now have all the information you will need. Kindest regards, A1 freeman f/r oc-Senator Alan Bible
