The living room is a mass of empty cans, snowshoes, hits of broken harness, dirty shirts, elks?╟╓ horns, guns, kettles, broken dishes, etc. Everything is covered with layers of dust and dirt. There are a few prim- itive pieces of furniture, made by the men, and one good piece of furniture, a sofa. The kitchen is in as great dis- order as the living room, with dirty dishes stacked high, kit- chen utensils, pots and pahs and broken dishes everywhere.
