I agree.2? 31 Cont, CAMERA PULLS BACK to reveal the rest of the wedding party standing before the altar, Hannah and Bunny stancl together directly in front of the Minister. Dr. Chegley stands to the left of Hannah and a step behind. Julia stands a step behind Hannah, but to her right. In a semicircle, two steps behind this group are Melba, Marie, Corey and Earl. MINISTER '...which is a state of being not to be entered into lightly, but discreetly and with due reverence. This celebration is the outward token of a sacred and inward union of hearts, created by loving purpose and kept by abiding will. Who gives this woman to be married to this man?...' Dr. Chegley takes a step forward and grasps Hannah's hand, squeezing it gently. For a moment they exchange the warm look of two people who feel deeply for each other. Then Dr. Chegley extends Hannah's hand to indicate that it is he who is giving the bride away. The Minister nods and Dr. Chegley, releasing Hannah's hand, steps back and joins Melba. MINISTER 'Into the estate of marriage these two persons now come to be joined.' (to Bunny) 'Bernard Henderson, will you have this woman to be your wedded wife, to live together in the estate of matrimony? Will you love her, comfort her, honor her, and keep her in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, and forsaking all others, keep you only unto her so long as you both shall live?' HENDERSON (looking lovingly at Hannah) I will. MINISTER (to Hannah, as he reads) 'Hannah Yarby...will you have this man to be your wedded husband, to live together in the estate of matrimony? Will you love him, honor him and keep him in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, and forsaking all others, keep you only unto him so long as you both shall live?' ^373 Cont.
