REVIEW-JOURNAL PHOTO iGivin Melvin-Miller, the now famous foreman of a tractor factory in Peoria, III., flew into Las Vegas Wednesday night for a one night stand as the ?╟úspecial guest star?╟ú with Sammy Davis, Jr. at the Sands hotel. This for ?╟úGood Ole Mel?╟Ñ, as ht has been tagged, was the last lap of a most improbable celebrity tour of the West coast which came about as a result of a lost car, a chance phone call on Labor Day of 1959 by a Marine Captain a Melvin Miller vacation fund collected in a shell casing, and some accidental publicity which the most aggressive publicity agent would never have dared to attempt. Mel, who admits that he?╟╓s just a farm boy and still overwhelmed by the last days?╟╓ events, was met at McCarran Field ?╟  Wednesday night by Mayor 0. K.
