March 26, 195k Mr. 41 Freeman Publicity Department Sands Hotel Highway 91 Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Mr. Freeman: We have worked out a method of taking photographs of the television viewer with a person watching it, which will show a good portion of the person watching it and the person on the television. 1. Cut out a piece of dull black paper which just covers the view tube in the television viewer. 2. Get all of the television viewer you want to show up in the photograph and make sure that it is clear and bright. 3. Set the camera on a tripod covering the scene you want to show in the photograph* U. Make the room as dark as possible but with the television set stiU turned on. 5* Take the photograph with the lens iris open and l/25 second exposure. 6 ?╟≤ Leave the camera unmoved on the tripod, and covering the viewing tube in the television set with the black piece of paper from instruction number one. 7. Now change the camera lens for the photograph, move the people in | next to the television viewer, and take the photograph in the customary manner. By doing the above you will obtain a photograph which shows a good picture of the television set and the people involved. BAllin . TEI.EV1SIOW * 'S'UJHBBSS ?╟≤ "* ?╜ KECOKUS ??
