I agree.45 PROSPECT STREET STAMFORD, CONN. 06902 na September IIU SEP $ w The Sands Hotel Las Vegas, Nevada the sands Dear Sir: This letter is a result of much coaching by several friends wh?· are both occasional and freguent visitors to the Sands. I am second VicerPresident and chairman of scholarship fund raising of the Stamford Junior Woman's Club, Inc. We are in the process of planning a Las Vegas Night in February 1970, for which gamb- ling will be for prizes, in keeping with the laws of the State of Connecticut. We would like to offer as first prize, a trip to Las Vegas with accomodations at your hotel. I am totally unaware of what "package deals" can be extended to us, as I am reluctant to approach travel agencies or airlines prior to hearing from you directly. I fekX the publicity connect- ed with this event would be mutually beneficial to both our events and your establishment as it will include the entire Fairfield County area. I am thoroughly convinced that this type of prize will make our Las Vegas Night most successful. If it is not possible for me to deal with you directly, kindly refer me to the airline or travel agency who will make the most attractive offer for us. I am also soliciting your assistance in obtaining some of the more insignificant items to make our night a success. If it is at all possible to send us any or all of the small essentials such as cards, napkins, matches, or canceled chips, we would be most grateful. I fe&l there is a great deal of publicity offer- ed with these items as they will be distributed among 400 pro- minent citizens of Fairfield County. ThankirDyou for any couttesy you are able to extend us. Sincerely yours Mrs. W. William Wilson 89 Eastover Road Stamford, Connecticut 06905
