I agree.New Revised "Soiree" Proposal The show is basically the same, with the exception of a smaller band and crew, and a slightly smaller "on-stage" cast. The opening, Sadie Thompson number, and the "Can Can" finale are the same in structure; only the "Salute to Dance" has been rearranged to accommodate the removal of tjie "Junkanoo" number. My budgeting on the original "Soiree" was $19,300.00. On the new version of "Soiree" the weekly running cost is $12,740.00, a savings of $6,560. This sum was achieved by eliminating one novelty act, two female dancers, two male dancers, three band members, one spot light operator, four stage hands, and by decreasing the salaries of the male singer and adagio team. In cutting the dry ice, an additional $400.00 per week is saved.
