I agree.7/11/63 TO ALL DEPARTMENTS: NOTICE OF SPECIAL EVENT On Tuesday, July 16, an MGM crew under the direction of Mr. George Sidney and Mr. Jack Cummings, will start filming a picture called "Viva Vegas." , The first scenes xtfill be photographed at the Sands on Tuesday, with setting-up slated for 5 AM by the MGM crew. The filming between 5 AM and 5 PM Tuesday, will take place in the Copa Room. At dusk the crew will photograph the Sands marquee. The Sheriff*s Office will provide traffic control during this sequence. More details will be forthcoming on the feeding of the crew during the first day of filming. A special City Ledger account titled "George Sidney - MGM" has been set up and any special charges will be billed to this account after proper authorization. Your usual fine Sands courtesy and cooperation is invited to help with this project, as it can mean a lot of good promotion for the Sands.
