I agree.JAY KAPLAN c inc. 730 EIETH AVENUE, NEW YOEK 19, N.Y. PLAZA 7-8395 May 21, 1959 Mr. A1 Freeman Director of Public Relations SANDS HOTEL Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Al: First, let me say that all of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Las Vegas and we appreciated your courtesy very much. Enclosed is a rough layout of the proposed tie in in which BONANZA and at least four out of five of the hotels in the BONANZA "package" will partici- pate. Also enclosed are duplicate copies of the letters which have been sent out to the SAHARA, TROPICANA, RIVIERA, and FLAMINGO Hotels as per your suggestion. May I ask for your cooperation in following up with these other hotels so that we can get this promotion started in ESQUIRE in October as outlined in ny letters to them. It might alsd' help if you were to send me the black and white photographs of the SANDS, signature or logo, and the copy you want in the space allotted - so that I can actually set this up and then stat it and send it out to the other hotel people as an example for them to follow. Please do this if you feel it can be a help at this point. Now, I want to put down on paper those things which I told you in your office and which are alternatives for you to consider in your participation. You have the option of doing any one of the following: 1. Not paying for your share of costs at all. 2. Paying for your share of costs in cash. 3. Paying for your share of costs by crediting the amount of your participation to my personal account at the SANDS Hotel. Naturally, I am very anxious to hear from you about the results of these letters ?╟÷ on your follow-up telephone calls ?╟÷ as soon as it is possible for you to do so. / ?
