    NEW-49er Club CHANGE OF NAME Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Bunker moved the application of Cecil lynch and Harry Gordon DBA 49er Club, 109 Fremont for license for 40 Slot Machines for the 4th Quarter of 1952 be held in abeyance until the Police Department makes a recommendation on this application. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved the application of 6.C. McGovern, Coffee Bob, 127 S. 2nd St. for license for 1 Slot Machine for the 4th Quarter of 1952 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following tote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. ADDITIONAL Commissioner Whipple moved the following applications for additional licenses for gaming for the 4th Quarter of 1952 be approved: THE CALIFORNIA CLUB GOLDEN NUGGETT The Fremont Arcade Partnership Golden Nuggett Inc. 1 "21"-1 Craps 101-5-11 S. 1st 1 Roulette Wheel 129 Fremont St. 1 Roulette Wheel Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. LIQUOR APPLICATIONS Transfers TRANSFER OF FEE DELETION OF NAME Commissioner Jarrett moved the application of Hans H. Eberhardt for the retail liquor Minature license issued the El Rio Liquor Store, 1314 F Street, formerly held by Laura McVade Richards be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Peccole moved the application of Walter and Marion Wolfinger DBA Swiss Village Restaurant, 115 N. 5th Street for a license for Restaurant Beverage be approved subject to investigation by the Police Department. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Bunker moved the request of the J.T. Watters Co. to apply the fee they have deposited for the liquor license be transferred to the 4th quarter since they have not commended operations be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none; Commissioner Peccole moved the request of Charles E. Dykes for removal of his name from the Ten Pin Tavern license be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioners Bunker and Jarrett, committee for recommendation on the proposed amendment to the traffic ordinance requested additional time before reporting. Commissioners Peccole and Whipple, committee for recommendation on the proposed amendment to the trailer park ordinance requested additional time before reporting. Commissioners Jarrett and Whipple, committee for recommendation on the proposed plumbing code ordinance requested additional time before reporting. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE CREATING A BOARD OF APPEALS TO HEAR AND DETERMINE APPEALS FROM RULINGS OF THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT: PROVIDING FOR THE MEMBERS THEIR DUTIES; AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH; was read by title and referred to Commissioners Jarrett and Whipple for recommendation. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO CONSOLIDATE INSPECTION PROCEDURE WITHIN THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS; CONSOLIDATING THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS PROVIDING FOR THE QUALIFICATIONS OF INSPECTORS IN SAID DEPARTMENT: AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO: AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH; was read by title and referred to Commissioners Jarrett and Whipple for recommendation. Commissioner Whipple moved the proposal of the Fairchild Aerial Surveys Inc. to make an aerial survey of the City of Las Vegas be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign the contract. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. AGREEMENT-Street Commissione r Bunker moved the agreement with Mrs. Anna Barozzi to improve the street Paving Anna Barozzi in front of her property being Lots 12 to 13, Block 33, Tankels North Addition in consideration of a deed for a right-of-way on Bonanza Road be approved and the Mayor • and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time Commissioner Bunker moved this meeting recess until October 17, 1952 at 2:30 P.M.
