Paris Amour by Ina Lee The magic and excitement of Paris are captured in the season extravaganza at the Americana in Bal Harbour. Paris Amour, a unique French revue, is an evening of top entertainment in the Bal Masque Supper Club. Conceived and choreographed by Jerry Jackson and produced by Gino Jonelli. the show is fast moving, topless, and glamourous. From the opening number, as beautiful showgirls descend from the ceiling in blue satin capes and pink feather boas, the stage is constantly filled with color and movement. There is a salute to American music, ending in a breathless disco sequence. But the showstopper is a can-can finale, for which Jackson is famous. The show's two novelty acts are excellent. The sensational Agostinos feature spine-tingling acrobatics and feats of human strength. An absolute delight is Senor Wences, performing in his first American stage appearance in seven years. A master ventriloquist, his skill and humor are pure entertainment. Paris Amour offers what Miami night life is famous for. At the Americana, 9701 Collins Avenue in Bal Harbour. Showtimes 9:10 and 11:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Dinner available. 865-3119. Very good. THE PIANO OF IRVING FIELDS by Ina Lee A soothing respite for jarred ears and a tired spirit is the music of Irving Fields at Henri's Restaurant in the Konover Hotel on Miami Beach. While dining in elegance, you can listen and dance to some of the most romantic music in Miami. Field's playing is both beautiful and versatile. He has performed all over the world and entertains his cosmopolitan audience with songs from many countries. For a personal touch, he loves to play the audience's requests; the range is old favorites to disco. He has also composed many songs like "Miami Beach Rumba"' and "Chantez-Chantez." Whether playing Gershwin, Chopin or gypsy melodies, his technique is almost flawless. He has been accompanied for 26 years by two outstanding musicians, bass player Earl Manning from the London Philharmonic and Michael Bruno, percussionist from the San Carlo Opera. Both of these gentlemen enhance the music with their voices. The trio has recorded 44 albums and performed at Carnegie Hall, the Theatre of the Performing Arts, and famous clubs all over the world. Irving Fields truly has fabulous fingers. VERY GOOD.
