I agree.I IlfMllfUmiffll! . . . One Sunday morning, when readers of the Los Angeles Times open their favorite newspaper, it is hoped they will find included ?╟╓?╟╓THE LAS VEGAS STORY" ... a separate, color rotogravure magazine published as an inte- gral part of the Sunday Times. Presenting this "story" as an editorial and pictorial supplement of The Times will offer many advantages to those Las Vegas corporations, civic organizations and individuals supporting it. First, of course, will be the vast Times Sunday circulation...comprising more than 940,000 families. Times readers are a diversified group... coming from all walks of life, representing a solid cross section of the old and the new as pertaining to Southern California?╟╓s tremendous and ever-growing population. For this diverse group, the Los Angeles Times holds a unique position. It gives them more news about government, inter- national affairs, business, finance, resort and tourist attractions, vaca- tions and vacationlands than they can get in any other local newspaper. They come to the Los Angeles Times...these hundreds of thousands of alert, interested readers...seeking information. This approach, this mood, means "THE LAS VEGAS STORY" presented in such a fashion will be well read by a searching and impressionable audience most receptive to any message from exciting and glamorous Las Vegas. Here is a new and different distribution which will enable hundreds of thousands of families, for the most part from the Southland?╟╓s upper in- come brackets, to learn all facets of that which Las Vegas interests are attempting to sell...Las Vegas itself. Herein can be told the complete story of this fabulous city?╟╓s tourist attractions, entertainment "spec- taculars," hotel and motel accommodations, its overall "visitor incen- tives," which are, in reality, the backbone of Las Vegas.
