Los Angeles* December 1* 1948. Mr. A, M. Folger, las Vegas: (ec- Mr. &. F, Ashby) X am enclosing herewith copy of letter which X hare addressed to Mr. Barry E. Miller* President, Las Vegas Valley Mater District, and wish to call your particular attention to the next to last paragraph in which the Water Company agrees to make available to engineers who may he employed by the Water District such physical data as may bs necessary for them to prepare a valuation of the Water Company’s properties. Galls may be made on you, after the District has employed engineers to make a survey of their plan, for various data upon which the valuation of the Water Company properties will be prepared. These engineers will undoubtedly try to get from you money values on some of these properties. X would like to warn you against disclosing any Information of any character having to do with money values. Tou undoubtedly have considerable data on tide costs of pipe line construction, reservoir construction, and also no doubt a great deal of the, data which was compiled by Taylor St Taylor in their recent survey./ Bone of this data is to be disclosed, and information given by you is to be ? ? confined entirel.y to physical data such as the size and length of pipe lines, type of pipe used (cast iron, etc.), footage of pavement torn up and replaced where that has been done, and other physical data of this nature. X would also like to be kept advised by you of inquiries that may be made to you from time to time by any representatives of the District. Wm. leinhardt.
