Los Angeles, March 10, 1942 36 Mr. Prank Strong: Referring to your requisition No. 64-49 covered by purchase order 36-SD-772 placed with the Worthington Pump Company for one fire pump. The Worthington Pump Company now advise that with the preference rating we are able to extend, which is A-10, P-100, they cannot make delivery within twenty-six weeks. I f this delivery is not satisfactory, we w ill either have to find a substitute or ask for a higher rating from Washington through our Omaha office which ra tin g ,|if granted, w ill take approximately three to four weeks to secure. cc - Mr. P.
