N. It's an all-expense-paid vacation trip for a week at the spectacular \ Sands Hotel in Las Vegas---given to Miss Houston directly by Jakie Freedman J himself. The dapper and jocular former Houstonian flew to Houston especially to confer with members of the Junior Chamber of Commerce and then to announce his personal gift to the winner of the Miss Houston Pageant. "I want Miss Houston and a companion of her choice to be my guests at the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas for a week," Mr. Freedman declared, "and I guarantee that they will never forget it." Mr. Freedman added that the travelers would be flown to and from Las Vegas in a specially chartered plane* "We will give Miss Houston the red carpet treatment:, and she111 have the time Of her life. A Miss Houston Pageant of this snaps and magnitude deserves only the hest, and I want to do my part, not only to make it one of the most-remembered pageants in the nation, but because I'm proud of ray hone town."
