At his side, bride Gia Maione adds sparkle to the act with times of her own as well as doing her share in augmenting some of the classic boy-girl Prima arrangements. In 1954, Prima met a great young saxaphonist named Sam Butera and that meeting proved to be the beginning of a long association. Butera's rocking voice and exploits on the tenor sax are now a solid part of the Prima show. Also playing an important part in the Prima delivery are The Witnesses?╟÷Roily Dee on bass, Lou Sino on trombone, Jimmy Vincent on drums, Morgan Thomas on trumpet and trombone and Bob Rosario on piano. Under the Prima banner all are given a chance to display their individual talents during the show. But the man is still Prima. His great sense of humor, masterfull timing and acute show business sense make the entertainment package what it is. He's the cohesive agent...the man who makes it go. Louis and wife Gia and their two children, live in Las Vegas in a beautiful Paradise Valley home, where he tries to relax with an occassional game of golf or a gathering of friends. He is presently in the process of constructing a golf course and clubhouse in the Paradise Valley area, and plans call for opening later this year. In the meantime, Prima will be busy at his favorite task. Entertaining in his driving style...at the Sands Hotel.
