The daughter of a famed German circus acrobatic family, she learned to skate when the family act was performing as an extra attraction with one of the European companies. Juanita decided she liked the life of a skater better than that of an acrobat and became a HOLIDAY ON ICE Glamour-Icer chorus girl. She was paired with Tommy Allen by the show directors and the skating partnership ripened into a love match. Tommy Allen is from Minnesota. He has been skating since he was seven years of age. In his early teens, he was winning amateur competitions and was selected for the U.S. world's figure skating team when he turned professional with HOLIDAY ON ICE. Another natural, he reached stardom with Juanita Percelly and marriage. The young couple have a home at Les Cruces, New Mexico, and are the parents of a year old daughter, Tasha,
