    Vsaid building site; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong in executing lease agreement C.L.D. 6124, dated December 26, 1944, between Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad Company, Lessor, and. Las Vegas Land and Water Company, Lessee, covering site for loading platform at Vegetable Shed No. 3, Los Angeles, California; term beginning January 1, 1945, and extending to January 1, 1950; rent­al $50 per annum, payable annually in advance; subject to termina­tion by either party upon 30 days’ written notice; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong in executing lease agreement C.L.D. 6128, dated December 30, 1944, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company, Lessor, and Merchant Shippers Association, Inc., Lessee, covering 340’ of Vegetable Shed No. 3,-Los Angeles, California, for handling merchandise; term beginning December 1, 1944, and extending to December 1, 1949; rental $177 per month, payable monthly in advance; subject to ad­ditional monthly rental equal to 1/12 of 9% of total cost of a concrete platform and other alterations, estimated at $14,000, to be constructed by Lessor, plus 1/12 of $50 as rental for additional ground underlying said platform, subject to termination by either party upon 30 days’ written notice; said C.L.D, 6128 also termin­ating as of December 1, 1944, lease Audit 10293 between said parties; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and con­firmed. -7-
