Escort designated VIPs to and from World Congress events, when required. 3. Supervise the operation of the VIP LOUNGE in the Convention Center. The RECEPTION COMMITTEE will be furnished full information on VIPs attending the World Congress. The COMMITTEE should review this infor- mation and determine which VIPs should be met upon arrival by one or more members of the COMMITTEE. In some instances, it may be required that certain VIPs be escorted to and from World Congress events. The RECEPTION COMMITTEE should handle this requirement, as instructed by the Managing Director. The cocktail lounge in the Convention Center will be operated as a VIP LOUNGE during the World Congress and will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, beginning Sunday, April 12, through Sunday, April 19. Service in the VIP LOUNGE will be as follows: 9:00 AM - 12:00 N - Coffee and Pastry 12:00 N - 2:00 PM - Bar Service 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM - Coffee and Soft Drinks 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM - Bar Service No charge will be made to VIPs for the above service. The Managing Director will attempt to arrange for a group to sponsor this activity. The name of this sponsor will be provided when available. A VIP MOTOR POOL will be operated throughout the World Congress for the purpose of transporting VIPs to and from the airport, the hotels, and World Congress events. The RECEPTION COMMITTEE is to work with the Transportation Committee in coordinating arrivals and departures of VIPs and the transportation of these VIPs to and from World Congress events. All VIPs attending the World Congress will wear PINK DELEGATE badges. All other delegate badges will be white. All persons with the pink badges are entitled to make use cf the VIP LOUNGE in the Convention Center and the VIP MOTOR POOL. No other persons are entitled to make use of this service, unless specifically authorized by the Managing Director. The Chairman of the RECEPTION COMMITTEE should use the VIP LOUNGE for his point of contact with his committeemen.
