m vA»oO January 27, PERSONAL Hr. C. P. Sexton Chairman, Public Service Commission Carson City, Nevada Dear Mr. Sexton: We are endeavoring to work up some data looking towards a campaign of education In Las Vegas for the conservation of water. You will recall that at the general investigation you held in Las Vegas last fall you Introduced some exhibits showing the per capita consumption of water in oertaln cities in Nevada, and also, the amount of water delivered per $1.00. The cities showing the per oapita consumption were Lovelock, Fallon, Winnemuoa, Las Vegas, and Reno, but you did not include in that exhibit Elko, Carson City, or Ely. 1 1 was wondering if you can advise me the source of that Information, as I would like to get some additional data along that line. One of your exhibits had similar data for California cities, which is not so material in view of the rainfall in California, but I thought that if your source of information contained cities in Arizona or some of the other western states, Z could work up some very illuminating figures to submit to the citizens of Las Vegas. I would very much appreciate your advice as to where the source of your information might be obtained on these two particular points, namely, the consumption per capita, and the gallons of water per $1.00. With kindest personal regards. Very truly yours, E. E. Bennett EEB LP Air Mail O , -\q4? 1942
