Representing the Resort Association, Messrs. Goffstein and Freeman okay'd the copy and layout with minor corrections. Within a few days, a revised layout will be photostated and sent to Las Vegas, as well as to TWA personnel above. Finished artwork will be started without awaiting further approval on the second layout, but there will be telephone consultation. When finished artwork is completed, it will be shipped to Mr. Culley, who will submit it for final approval in Las Vegas. Fred Manchee Dave Danforth Paul Markman Rob't Schmelzer Henry See Madeline Rehkamp Peg Knighton Glen Verrill Lou Figliola Ken Brown Bob Anderson Bill Gillen- Ghicago Schedule: The Resort Association client also approved a revised newspaper schedule for Chicago. (This is attached.) It is understood that the initial insertion will be on Wednesday, November 3rd, followed by Monday insertions, November 8th and 15th. The Chicago office of TWA will report on incoming phone calls inquiring about Las Vegas service and also report Las Vegas bookings. This information may result in adjusting the newspaper schedule up or down. It was generally agreed that neither TV nor radio would be used at this time in Chicago in order to concentrate funds for an adequate newspaper advertising effort. Merchandising: An extra electro of the 1500 line newspaper ad may be made available to either TWA or Las Vegas for printing glossy display proofs. TWA may require a hundred. In Las Vegas the quantity is as yet undetermined. Some proofs may be mounted with easel backs. The body copy in the ad will be deleted from the display electro and the display copy rearranged within the circle. RS
