San Pedro, E. G. TILTONj bHIEF ENGINEER Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad Company ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT Los Angeles, Cal., June 17, 1909. Proposed cottages for employees at Las Yogas, Nevada. Mr. J. Ross Clark, 2nd Yice President, Building. Bear Sir:- In reference to the plans for the four and six-room employeeTs cottages as built by the Southern Pacific Company, prints of which were sent you by Mr. Bancroft and which you asked me to look over and report if they could be built at Las Yegas for the prices given in the estimates attached to them, I have to advise that in checking the estimates it is found thqy are correct. Thus the six-room cottage with cellar, S.P. Brawing #11905, built at Imlay, Nevada, estimated to cost $2126.00 would cost at Las Yegas $2012.00, or $114.00 less. The four-room cottage with cellar, S.P. Drawing #13074, built at Imlay, Nevada, estimated to cost $1367.00, would cost at Las Yegas $1308.00, or $59.00 less. The eight-room doable cottage with cellar, S.P. Drawing #11906, built at Imlay, Nevada, estimated to cost $2550.00, would cost at
