I agree.9/2/64 Las Vegas Dear Mr Brenner, X am enclosing a statement from the Central Canada Exhibition for the Red Skelton shows of August 21 and 22, which may help to answer the questions contained in your letter of August 28* As I understood it, the contract called for half of the guarantee to be paid in American money, and half in Canadian currency - and thus the difference in the checks. The contract also called for 70X of the gross receipts exceeding $36,000, but because of the rain, we did not exceed that amount. The promotion on the Fair was tremendous * the cooperation of the Fair officials was beautiful - the preparatory work was excellent * it was Just an act of God that caused it to rain, and abhorted what should have been a tremendous box office sale. I checked these records myself during the rainy show, and X believe the attached statement is a true picture as far as we can verify it. X hope this answers your questions, but if there is anything X can do further, please let me know. Kindest regards. A1 Freeman Mr Robert L.
