Miss Houston-Add 1 Even more prizes are being arranged, according to Jerry Lyons, chair- man of the Jaycee awards committee, to make the competition more fabulous. The top three finalists will each receive a trophy, and the top 10 . finalists wtll be given a gold charm bracelet, compliments of Levit's Jewelers. Deadline for entries for the Miss Houston Pageant is June 22, with preliminaries July 6 and 7 at the Western Skies Motel, 7806 Katy Road. The pageant is a quest for the most attractive and talented young ladies in Houston, who can meet the official Miss America requirements. Miss Houston will compete for the Miss Texas title in Kerrville in August, Winner of that competition goes on to Atlantic City, N. J,, in September for the Miss America Pageant. They were together for 10 years, during which they made 16 motion pictures, innumerable television shows and night club appearances. In 1956, they decided to go their separate way As a 8ingle, the crew-cut Lewis has zoomed even higher, as a comic and as a recording star. His records has sold in the millions for Decca. He appears in another facet in his 17th picture, "The Delicate Delinquent," which he also produces. Mr, Lewis, the nation's favorite clown, will arrive in Houston by plane around noon on July 14.
