31 - METALS, SCRAP NON-FERROUS The proper preparation of non-ferrous metals for sale is important and should conform to specifications, Appendix "B" . The various metals recovered from equipment and materials which are scrapped can he separated by simple hand tools or by machines purchased or specially developed for the various scrapping operations. METAL, SCRAP FERROUS Where small quantities are involved the metals are usually sorted into two or more grades and sold on local dealer's classifications.
