FLUFF LECOQUE SUPERVISOR OF THE QUARTER 3RD QUARTER-1997 ongratulations to Fluff LeCoque, Company Manager of M ?╟úJubilee,?╟Ñ who received the Leadership Award for out-standing supervisory qualities for the third quarter of 1997. Fluff was presented awards by Executive Vice President Paul V. Pusateri at the Employee of the Month luncheon held on October 15,199|| in Seasons Restaurant. On hand to help Fluff celebrate this great accomplishment were Joel Fischman, Vice President of Entertainment, Peter Aaronson, Director of Entertainment, and Diane Palm, Assistant Company Manager of ?╟úJubilee.?╟Ñ Fischman explained, ?╟úFluff leads by example. Her expertise in knowing what the look of ?╟úJubilee?╟Ñ should be keeps everyone on their toes. She knows every part, every step, and every note of the show and teaches it not only to our new cast members but also refreshes the memory of 175 member cast and crew.?╟Ñ LeCoque was also recently awarded a week,s vacation for her outstanding contribution as a Keyworker in Bally?╟╓s United Way Campaign. On behalf of the cast of Jubilee, Fluff donated the vacation money to United of Southern Nevada. Fischman added, ?╟úThis is why Fluff is not just fluffife; LeCoque has been in show business all of her life, performing in the United States and in Europe. She was associated with the late Donn Arden, original creator of ?╟úJubilee,?╟Ñ for near- Vice President Joel Fischman congratulates Fluff Lecoque, Jubilee Company Manager, for being named Supervisor of the Third Quarter. She came to this property in 1973 as company manager for the previous show, ?╟úHallelujah Hollywood,?╟Ñ and has been here ever since. LeCoque said that she is ?╟úvery proud of Jubilee and the recent renovations that are giving it new life.?╟Ñ When she?║s not hard at work, Fluff enjoys painting, gardening, traveling, her friends, and her cats.; Congratulations, Fluff. HILTON LEARNING CENTER GRADUATES FIRST SESSIONS Bally?╟╓s Las Vegas, the Flamingo Hilton and the Las Vegas Hilton have all combined training efforts to create the new Hilton Lear fling Center located here, in the Bally?╟╓s Training Center. The Hilton Learning Center is committed to offering classes to all levels of employees from each of the three properties. Classes offered include; Sexual Harassment,ToastMasters, E.S.Sg.E.D,, Hilton Supervisory Development and Leadership 2000. Earlier this month, we graduated our first three classes. The first series of classes, LEADERSHIP 2000, which has been designed for all mid-managers and above, included topics such as; Collaboration, Coaching, Giving and Receiving Feedback, Recognition&avigating Change and Managing Priorities. These classes were taught by Annette Aguirre, Training Manager at Bally?╟╓s and Cindy Johnson, Training Specialist at Bally?╟╓s, who successfully graduated eleven students on November 6th, 1997. These participants committed to 18 hours of classroom time, in three hour increments! every Thursday for 6 consecutive weeks. The class was made up of managers from all three properties which included; Mike Allgeier, Casino Administrator-Bally?╟╓s, Art Kisker, Hotel Services-Las Vegas Hilton, Pam Reichert, Bells Superintendent-Bally?╟╓s, Patrick McKenna, Food & Beverage-Flamingo, Salli Shackleford, Front Office Manager-Bally?╟╓s, RayThonhoff, Laundry- Flamingo, Steve Thomas, Asst. Director Housekeeping-Bally?╟╓s, Chris Hancock, Compensation and Benefits Manager-Bally?╟╓s, Bruno Marvelli, Engineering-Flamingo, Randy Benjamin, Guest Services-Flamingo, Bill Zimmer, Casino-Flamingo. Our next graduating class was that of HILTON SUPERVISORY DEVELOPMENT taught by Robin Noma?╟╓aea, Training Manager-Flamingo Hilton. These classes met for two hours, once a week for 6 weeks, gbpics included Communicating Effectively, Treatment Transfer, Supervisor as Trainer, Recognition and Reinforcement, Coaching, Relapse Prevention. Eleven participants graduated from these classes on November 5t^H997, including; Phil Gordon, Housekeeping-LVH, Judee Tutor, Slot Mktg-LVH, Terry Deem, Employment-Bally?╟╓s, Mark Naylor, Casino-Bally?╟╓s,Jera Schlivka, Valet-Bally?╟╓s Joe Ann Gaston, Hotline-LVH, Bill Nblemffalet Parking-Batty?╟╓s,Angela Ramirez, Security-Bally?╟╓s, Judy Stagman, Purchasing-Bally?╟╓s, Brian Clark, Advertising-Bally?╟╓s, and Pedro Jimenez, Public Area-Bally?╟╓s^: A second graduating of HILTON SUPERVISORY DEVELOPMENT was taught by Curtis Roe,Training Manager-Las Vegas Hilton. Participants included Sherry Plata, MIS-Bally?╟╓s, Sharon Cooper, Finance-Bally?╟╓s, Jane Giese-Caperton-ZULT, Marci Leeham-LVH, Francisco Lazcano-LVH, Mylas Thompson-ZVZ/, Gabriel Damian-LVH, Senceray Joshua Housekeeping-Bally?╟╓s, Kevin Amis, Public Area-Bally?╟╓s, Mike Feller-Flamingo, Phil Gordon-LVH,Jamie Shea-Flamingo, Helene Claytor, Finance-Bally?╟╓s Javier Ortega-Flamingo, Susan Cleavingev-Flamingo, Audrey Ehrlich, Pool-Bally?╟╓s, LeyettoTaylor-Flamingo, Richard Johnson- Flamingo, Chris Foreman Human Resources-Bally?╟╓s, Ray Swaggerth-ZVZ/, Bill Godfrey-Flamingo, David Burgess-Flamingo, Theresa Verrire-Flamingo.
