Cullen, Division Superintendent, ' / cost of laying S’’ pipe sring coaches at Las Vegas, in place of present inadec line. | would suggest§|i >e revised and that the pipe line be made 10-inches from its junction with the 18-inch main to about 1 xe ice house, at which point it be reduced to 6-inohes i with the latter diameter to the east end of the fr< The reason for this suggestion is that the Mechanical Depart­ment is desirous that a water crane be ereeted in the yard'at a point in the vicinity of the ice house, and as there is a 10-inch crane on hand lying in the Vegas yard which could be put up, the pipe leading to it should be at least of the same diameter.
