They never let the audience down for one second. \<*merhing is always happening. J errs Jackson, one of our finest choretp- gtaphcrs, if not the finest, has outdone himself. His dancers are all very good. The specialty numbers are el ever and peppy there just isn^t any letdown. Jerry may have prepared the dance numbers for a lot of bigger shows, but I don't think he's ever done any better. This is a masterpiece of the choreographers' art. Congratulations Jerry, the dancing is superb. Vocal star Mary Welch is another "Pin-Ups" high point. This is a highly talented young lady. Superstar material can be found in Mary Welch. She electrified the audience as Mae West. The only thing missing was musciernan George Eiffer* wsan. Appearing in several production numbers, as well as her own spot. Mary Welch displayed great style and adaptability. The Welch rendition of "Ain't Misbehavtn' brought down the house in a thundering ovation. (No jokes about her being, juiced tn because she's a Weld please!) The place was packed, with celebrities and comedy lovers. Most came To sec thee. number one man, comedian- trumpeter Peter Anthony. Peter Anthonv was the perfect choice for this fast- paced production. His brand of comedy is tumult. He keeps jabbing from the opening bell, (or so my hubby shouted to me.) The Peter Anthony way of looking at life is hilarious. He commented on television star Jack Lord. To the Anthony mind, it's amazing that the star of "Hawaii Hve-O" can go through anything and come out perfectly groomed. Peter quipped, "Jack Lord can battle through a typhoon, and (hat one lock of hair never moves. Maybe it covers his lobotomy sears." Peter Anthony's fine eon - and equally dynamic trumpet playing is the perfect icing for the "Pin Ips *77,'M a great en(ertainment dessert. Even more important, "PinUps 77" has Jerry Jackson sans earlier restraints and limitations, challenging all others to accomplish as much with so few people in as touted a space .
