Adamson Union Pacific R.R. 422 West Sixth St. Los Angeles, California Dear Mr. Adamson: In November when we last talked, you mentioned it would he after the first of the year before you would have all your information pertaining to the Las Vegas water district. Would it be worth while for me to drive down to see you regarding the two proposed wells for the Las Vegas Land and Water Co. I notice the cable tool outfit on the Stewart Ranch has lowered their mast and pulled off the hole, with the casing stuck at about 172 ft. If they move off, is there a chance to bid on the completion of that well. As your request I am sending copies of "Water Resources Bulletin No. 5" and "Biennial Report of the State Engineer". I would appreciate your reply as soon a® possible, as I am completing a well this week. Very truly yours, \ Fred D. Smith
