Red Skelton opens in the Copa Room next Wednesday (June 12) For 4 weeks, and the same night Louis Prima opens in the Celebrity Theatre for 6 weeks, to start the Sands summer show schedule off in the biggest double-barreled bill seen in Las Vegas in years. Skelton will return to the Sands Wednesday for his 435th show in the 8 years since he has been booked by show producer Jack Entratter for his Copa Room shows. It will mark the beginning of his 32nd week of Sands engagements. Featured with Skelton will be new songstress Grace Markay, with music by Antonio MoreHi and the Sands orchestra. Prima is bringing in a whole new revue of great wild sounds, starring Sam Butera and the Witnesses, Little Richie Varola, Jimmy Vincent, and introducing Ronnie Barron. Held over again is the longest running "mod" show on the Strip, ?╟ Playmates Revue ?╟ 69." Back again for their 2nd engagement in less than 6 months is Bob Fletcher and Vicky Lano, the bright young husband and wife singing duo discovered right here in Las Vegas. # # # #
