BO X 271 ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO October 2, 1964 TELEPHONE 247- 04II , AIR MAIL Mr# Al Freeman Executive Offices Sands Hotel Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Mr* Freeman: I wanted to write and extend to you my most personal thanks for your kindnesses and courtesies to me and my family when we were guests at the Sands Hotel during the latter part of September* As you probably know* the trip was a sudden one and not one that we could plan in advance and when I tried to get rooms at the Sands through our local travel agency$ they said that it was impossible to do, I realized that Mr. Timothy Keleher, a friend of mine and a practicing attorney here in Albuquerque! had some abilities to help in the situation so I ciiled upon him and through your help, I was able to get excellent rooms and the table we had for the evening dinner-show at the hotel was excellent, I especially appreciated your thoughtfulness in having drinks for us and I was unable to reach you to thank you personally, but I do want you to know that I deeply appreciate your courtesies* We have stayed at the Sands many times, but from now on, of course, due to your thoughtfulness and courtesies, we will make it our hotel when we do stop in Las Vegas.
