The gallonage of water is thirty gallons per minute per ton of water, which added to the ten gallons per minute per ton of cooling capa­city amounts to forty gallons per minute per ton of cooling. On a monthly basis, 96OO gallons per ton at the rate of 10 cents per thousand gallons would be 96 cents. Comparison was again made on the basis of a family of four which pays at the rate of $2.75 per month for domestic water and the operation of a five-ton cooling system using 12,000 gallons per month at 25 cents per ton of capacity, which would be $1.75 for the 12,000 gallons. In other words, 12,000 gallons of cooling water would cost $1.7§ and 60,000 gallons of domestic water would cost $2.75.
