THE INK SPOTS ... An outstanding and one of the top vocal groups in show business, this act is in a class by themselves. Recording artists; formerly with Decca and now on the Verve Label, their hit records of ?╟úIf I Didn?╟╓t Care?╟Ñ and ?╟úCoffee and Tea?╟Ñ have sold over a million copies. They are great favorites both in the United States and on the European contin- ent. Currently at Larry Potter?╟╓s Supper Club; they have also been featured at the Sands in Las Vegas; the Mapes in Reno; Amato?╟╓s in Portland; Chez Paree, Chicago; the Palace Theatre, New York; and numerous others. The day was great fun and Mrs. Charles Sill and her committee were voted most or- iginal in their treatment of this theme. Leo?╟╓s presented a fabulous ?╟úFantasy in Furs,?╟Ñ set off to advan- tage on glamorous member-models, the Mesdames Philip Cerro, Ted Hume, John Kovacevich, Mary Jaynes,: Herbert Neuman, Stanley Zemny and Jack Monan. Scoring 11 ^ points to Visalia?╟╓s J/2 point, BCC women made a sweeping victory in team play Octo- ber 26th when Visalia invaded the hilltop course: Despite this fact, Visalia remains in top place with 33 points, Stock- dale and Sunnyside are tied with 31 points, Fort Washington and BCG are tied with29j/2 and Kings County Golf Club, 25 points. Team Captain Doralee Beckel says most of our games have been played away from home and next spring when team play is resumed with many games played at home, our standing is bound to improve. BCC players are Ruby Kitchen, Terry Miller, Earline Riel, Blossom Terrano, Jean Mello, Gladys Ohls- son, June Jeffries and Doralee Beckel.
