I agree.ALLEN LUDDEN \ K':' ?· ft V Mr. Al Freeman The Sands Hotel Las Vegas, Nevada May 16, 1963 Dear Mr. Freeman: As you suggested on the telephone, I'm writing to tell you of my plans to be married. Betty White and I would very much like to be married at The Sands as simply as possible. We will arrive on Thursday, June 13, with Betty's Mother and Father (Mr. and Mrs. Horace White). We will need a two-bedroom suite for Betty and her parents for the night of the 13th, and a single for me. On Friday afternoon at 1:00 p.m., we would like to be married in the living room of the suite. You mentioned you would be willing to contact the gentleman who would officiate at the wedding. We would greatly appreci- ate it if you would get in touch with the judge who married friends of ours - Mary Tyler Moore and Grant Tinker. Unfortu- nately, they told me his name and I forgot it. But he must be somewhat celebrated in Las Vegas in view of the fact that they told me he is conceivably the next Governor of the State. Another clue to his identity: he married Tommy Sands and Nancy Sinatra. Do you know who he is? If not, I will contact Grant and get his name. After the ceremony, we will have a small champagne lunch of some sort and Betty and I will leave for San Diego at 4:20. I'll be in touch with you later to make specific mrrangements about the flowers. I'd appreciate your confirming these arrangements. Needless to say, I am grateful to you for all that you will do in our behalf. Very sincerely yours,
