Dear Sirt I enclose my f i l e in regard to charges for wharfage and handling of express shipments over the Crescent dock via Pacific navigation Company’ s steamers. Under our contract with the Crescent company we are responsible for these charges. I w ill appreciate it i f you w ill kindly review the papers carefu lly and give me your opinion as to which company should be held responsible for adjustment of this account.
