I agree.FREEMAN COMPANY pub/fc/sts PLANNING 5/11/59 Plans for CopaGirls and the Sands Float on Helldorado: On Sunday, May 17, the Sands will enter a float in the Helldorado Parade, based on the idea of "America ?╟÷- The Melting Pot" to comply with the Parade Theme of American Legends. Our idea calls for CopaGirls in some of the current show costumes and in some other costumes to be rented, to be featured on the float, depicting various countries from whom America has drawn its emigrant material. The following CopaGirl costumes and personnel will be used, and should plan on being dressed and ready to leave the Sands by 1:30 PM on Sunday: 2 CopaGirls in Chinese costume (Renee to assign names) 2 CopaGirls in Brazilian " " " " " 2 CopaGirls in East Indian " " " " " 1 CopaGirl in Dutch costume 1 CopaGirl in Austrian Peasant costume 1 CopaGirl in Hawaiin costume 1 CopaGirl in Statue of Liberty costume and props Renee Stewart will make selections of CopaGirls to be used and more information will be written out by Friday of this week. We will rent a motel room near our starting place in the Parade so that the CopaGirls can rest until we start down the line of march. Towels and refreshments will be in these quarters to make the waiting time easier. Judging from past Parades, a rough estime of the schedule can be figured this way: 1:30 PM 2:20 PM 2:35 PM 2:45 PM 4:00 PM Leave Sands for float Mount up float Move to starting position Start into line of march. Finish Parade, dismount float at Finish Point, to be picked up by Sands station wagons. Arrive Sands for dispersal. 4:15 PM Thank you for your cooperation.
